My name is Lisa Rose Jones. I know it takes courage to seek help. If you think we’d be a good fit, I welcome the opportunity to learn about your struggles. Congratulations on taking your first step!

FOCUS

  • I experienced the psychological trauma & shame created by religious/church maltreatment. I lived the pain cycle of love vs chaos in narcissistic relationships. I've experienced divorce, remarriage, single-parenting hardships, poverty; while also finding the beauty of rebuilding brokenness. There is power and restoration when we invite someone to walk alongside us, no matter how painful the struggle.

  • Our lives manifest trauma in many ways. Trauma can be a pattern, or a one-time event from religious, psychological, emotional, or physical abuse often by the people we trust the most. I use EMDR Therapy to help us work through the past, accept the present, and work toward a healthy future.

  • As your therapist, I will be present at your point of need. If it's anxiety, trauma, religion "mess", LGBTQIA issues, narcissism, codependency, parenting, troubled marriage, shame, powerlessness, toxic parenting, or the need to redirect a career, I will listen, be considerate and open-minded while challenging you when you need another perspective.

Embracing Whole Wellness

Compassion for all individuals, regardless of background or identity is at the heart of ‘Whole Wellness’. Understanding the impact of trauma, abuse, and unhealthy relationships is key to this approach. I believe in nurturing the mind, body, and spirit to achieve true wellness.
